There is one blog that i have read that i think you will enjoy a lot. Jaylen's blog has quite a few valid points. I have been with her through a lot, and she is a very strong person with a lot of experience. I think you would really like her blog if you checked it out. Another cool blog that i enjoy is Kap's blog. I really like to see what he puts up there. He's a very talented person with a great perspective on music!

As you all know, we are to make a post about a disease that we are interested in or have a personal connection with.
When she was about twenty-five, my mom was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. It was a huge struggle for our family. Things were very hard because nobody was at knowledge with the fact that my mother was a drug addict. Hepatitis C is a disease that is transmitted by infected blood, so using dirty needles is a huge factor. It can also be transmitted through blood by just tattoos, piercings, or sharing things like razors or toothbrushes. Hepatitis C can also be sexually transmitted, but it's very uncommon.
Hepatitis C is a disease that infects your liver primarily. It can also mess with your stomach acid production. My moms case includes the stomach acid issues. Her stomach produces to much acid and her stomach was at a point where it was basically eating its self away. She has permanent damage to her stomach and used to have to go to the doctors often. She is a lot better now, but she will have Hep-C for the rest of her life. Many cases are curable using antivirals, but sometimes, with severe cases,  it just doesn't work. It is a potentially life threatening disease, but my moms case isn't "serious enough to be considered fatal".
I wanted to write about Hepatitis C because its a very common disease, but can very easily be avoided. Making right and smart decisions like not using drugs, and always making sure that your surroundings are sanitized when it's really important are good ways to prevent getting Hepatitis C.

Dessert Dance

I think that the theme should be Glow In The Dark because.... i think it would be really cool and fun. I also think that it is a lot better than the other options. Think about it, whats better than pitch black rooms ( or close to pitch black) with neon colors every where? I think that this theme best suits our student body and i think everyone would really enjoy it. If this theme wins, i would be more than willing to help buy glow sticks and glow paint.

so uhm, hi. Something that i have always had an interest in is art. Really any kind, but i really enjoy drawing. I have been drawing since i was about five or so. I really started to get into it once i realized how good my O'pa was. By the way, that's German for grandpa... but anyways. He was the real inspiration in my drawing. Through the years, i got better and better at drawing. This past year or so, i got a little bored with it. I really wanted to do something with it, so i started taking requests from others and drawing them pictures. During the second quarter, i gave a "how to" speech on how to draw a realistic eye. Mrs. Crocker was very impressed with it, so she pulled a few strings and i now teach her home room art. Teaching the sixth graders art has really opened up a lot of doors for me. When i was little, i had a dream of being an art teacher, but thought it was a long shot. And now its actually very possible for me. So thats what i plan to do when i am older and am looking for a career. What are your ideas for your future career? post them!
